Biodiversity
Biodiversity and ecosystems provide many goods and services which are essential components of human well-being. These includes: materials, food, fuel, water purification, medication, protection against pests and diseases, cultural services, and climate regulation. The primary threat to them is often the result of habitat loss.
Protecting environments, through no net loss of biodiversity, sustainable management of natural resources and ecological compensation scheme, therefore also carries an economic value.
Through our expertise in environmental assessment, we are able to determine the threats that an ecosystem can be subject to, and assess the risks and impacts resulting from projects and human activities. We have experience in flora and fauna baseline survey and monitoring, critical habitat assessment and ecosystem service studies. We have experience in engaging with a broad range of stakeholders including project sponsors, investors, lenders, governmental authorities, EPC contractors, communities and the civil society, to reach environmental excellence.
